Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) has appointed DSTNCT as its social media agency partner, following a tender it issued in February this year. The appointment will be for a period of one year from 1 May 2017 to 30 April 2018. Meanwhile the agency will be tasked with handling consulting and counselling services for social media branding.
The pitch saw five other agencies vying for the account including its PR agency Asia PR Werkz, CPXI Singapore, Hashtag Interactive, IH Singapore and Pinheads Interactive.
Last year, NYP re-appointed Asia PR Werkz as its PR agency for a two-year term to 2018, with an optional extension of one year. The appointment came following a pitch with five other agencies.
The account was being led by Asia PR Werkz’s director Ginny-Ann Oh, and saw the agency working closely with the polytechnic to develop the PR strategy, as well as designing and executing a media relations plan to ensure a steady stream of good quality and positive media coverage for the organisation.
