Malaysian Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has appointed Saatchi & Saatchi to develop convention and incentive videos to increase awareness on Malaysia amongst the international business events industry and to position Malaysia as the preferred business events destination in Asia.
The duration of project is six months and the agency commenced work for the campaign in May 2013.
“Saatchi & Saatchi presented us with a fresh and contemporary approach that promotes Malaysia’s strengths that include its unique diversity, value for money proposition and strategic location in the heart of Asia that makes Malaysia a preferred destination for meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions,” said Ho Yoke Ping (pictured), the general manager of sales and marketing of MyCEB.
Creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi, Sathi Anand, said the agency wanted to showcase the very best of Malaysia and what the country has to offer.
In November 2011, MyCEB unveiled its business events tagline, ‘Malaysia – Asia’s Business Events Hub’ which encompasses its aim to communicate Malaysia’s proposition as a gateway to Asia for meetings.
