MTR trials live talk show Talkazine

MTR is set to launch a live infotainment programme “MTR Talkazine” as part of its listening and responding programme.In a three-month trial starting from 28 September, the one hour talk show will air in station concourses on the Kwun Tong, Island, Tsuen Wan and Tseung Kwan O lines between 6pm and 7pm from Friday to Sunday."Our passengers tell us that getting relevant information about their MTR journeys is very important when they're in our system."But while our approach is very business-like during the week when most people have work on their minds, we want to enhance the travel experience on weekends by trying out a more relaxed approach,” said Jay Walder, CEO of MTR Corporation.The live show will be hosted by Hong Kong DJs Jessica Ho and Josephine Ng.Annie Leung, head of customer service development of MTR Corporation, said the company will look to extend the initiative to the whole MTR network for a longer period if it gets a positive response.The Listening‧Responding programme was launched in 2012 and has so far rolled out an upgraded smartphone apps, free Wi-Fi hotspots in all MTR stations, as well as way-finding signboards at major MTR stations.
