Publicis Groupe’s communications consultancy arm MSLGROUP has promoted Chetan Mahajan (pictured) and Amit Misra to co-MDs of its Indian branch. They will report directly to Glenn Osaki, president, MSLGROUP Asia.
Mahajan and Misra will jointly lead a united agency that comprises the key brands of MSLGroup, 20:20 MSL, Publicis Consultants, Social Hive, and Creative+. They will lead the India roll out of the new go-to marketing strategies and plan methodologies based on insight, integration and impact. Both will also work to build synergies at group level.
Jaideep Shergill will hand over his operational management responsibilities to Misra and Mahajan from 1 January 2015, and will move into a new consulting role working in partnership with MSLGROUP India founder and chairman Emeritus, Sunil Gautam.

Osaki added that Mahajan brings a sharp business savvy and operational excellence to the role, while Misra is an aggressive business developer, net-worker and growth champion.
