More digital hires for MediaCom globally

MediaCom has poached Deirdre McGlashan (pictured) from Aegis as its first chief digital officer to boost its digital leadership team.McGlashan, previously head of digital, global clients at Aegis Media and former Greater China CEO at Isobar, starts her new role 16 June reporting to Worldwide COO, Harvey Goldhersz who assumes responsibility for the agency’s data and technology capabilities.Stephen Allan, chairman and chief executive of MediaCom Worldwide, said the appointment was by far "one of the most important hires made in the last five years".The news comes as MediaCom China yesterday hired Shane Crombie as head of interaction, based out of Shanghai.
