MobMe Asia, a mobile advertising network, has struck a deal with Opera Mediaworks and announced the appointment of Surin Raj as the director of strategic partnership.
Opera is a world leading mobile ad platform in Malaysia and Singapore. The partnership between MobMe and Opera will forge access to millions of users in the two countries via Opera Mini browser and AdMarvel.
Surin Raj joins MobMe from Catcha Group, where he served for eight years as the head of mobile, special projects, A+M understands.
Raj comes with 13 years of experience in the media industry and was the pioneer of Catcha Digital. In his previous role, he developed sales process and structure for integrating Catcha Media’s media assets.
Raj will be responsible to lead strategy development partnerships with publishers and other platforms for clients in Malaysia and Singapore.
