Mini Malaysia eyes premium automotive compact segment

Mini Malaysia is introducing a new and exclusive Mini Countryman Park Lane as it looks to compete in the country in the premium automotive compact segment.

Han Sang Yun, managing director and CEO of BMW Group Malaysia said, “Since its first introduction globally and in Malaysia, the Mini Countryman has paved its way into the lives of new customer segments and has enabled the brand to establish a secure standing in the premium compact segment. Today, for the first time, we are pleased to share its success with a special edition model to further meet the multi-faceted mobility needs of MINI fans here in the country.”

The Mini Countryman with the Park Lane badge will carry a distinct design and colour concept of  Earl Grey and Oak Red. The character is further emphasised with Oak Red stripes on the bonnet, tailgate and lower side section.

The new Mini Countryman Park Lane also features the new Mini connected app that is available in iTunes and Google Play Store. The new Mini Connected app offers a focused experience of Mini Connected and provides drivers with the most relevant information for everyday driving.

This is made possible with new functionalities such as the Mini Streetwise, which help drivers discover the best way to arrive at a destination with traffic prediction using trip details such as duration, fuel consumption and more; Sports Instruments which shows engine data including rev speed, torque, engine temperature and current engine output; and Force Meter which visualises all accelerating forces, using graphics to indicate longitudinal and lateral acceleration.
