Ming, KH & Associates names new group account director

Boutique public relations consultancy Ming, KH & Associates Sdn Bhd has appointed KM Cheong as group account director to lead client servicing for all accounts.Cheong (pictured) brings with him 20 years of operational, business development and account servicing experience with industrial multinational corporations (MNCs). Cheong was most recently the enterprise accounts director at United Technologies (UTC) Building and Industrial Systems, where he led initiatives for synergies within the group’s leading brands such as Otis, Carrier, Kidde and Lenel. He had also managed service operations at Sigma Elevators and Heidelberg, a leading printing press manufacturer.KH Lim, principal lead of the agency, said: “KM’s background and training put him in good stead as we counsel senior clients on a wide range of issues across industries. KM is also well-grounded in client servicing having handled clients across various industries during his tenure with UTC and Heidelberg. He has a good nose for business and technical issues having obtained an MBA in Management and IT.”Ming-KH is founded by Leong Ming Chong, a veteran PR practitioner who recently retired, and former business editor and news editor KH Lim.
