WPP’s media agency Mindshare will launch in New Zealand. Mindshare New Zealand will be an integral part of WPP’s media investment entity, GroupM, which also launched in New Zealand in January 2015.
Samantha Osborne will lead as its managing director. She will report to Katie Rigg-Smith, CEO Mindshare Australasia.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Osborne previously worked as business director at Ogilvy NZ Limited for seven years after moving from Spark where she was media director for two years.
In a press statement, Osborne (pictured) said, to be continually innovative it is necessary to be aware of technological advancements and its impact of consumer behaviour.
“Globally we have always invented and created to stay ahead of the pack; and we will continue to adapt and innovate within our business and most importantly for our clients and partners. As long as media keeps evolving, so will we,” Osborne added.
Rigg-Smith, CEO Mindshare Australasia, added that the Mindshare products and approach to media thinking are proven globally.
