Millennial Media Names CMO, Singapore JewelFest appoints PR agency

Millennial Media appoints EVP and CMO

Mobile advertising and data company Millennial Media has appointed Mollie Spilman (pictured) as executive vice president and CMO for the company. In the newly created role, Spilman will be responsible for leading the company’s worldwide marketing, advertising and branding efforts, as well as the company’s business development efforts. Spilman was previously CMO at Yahoo.

Meanwhile, it has also appointed Rice Communications as its PR agency across Southeast Asia, on a six-month retainer. It builds on Rice’s mobile marketing experience with clients such as the Mobile Marketing Association and Out There media.

Rice Comms wins another account

Hilton Worldwide has appointed Rice Communications to work on the publicity efforts of the launch of Hilton Worldwide’s “Carbon Offset Program” in Southeast Asia. For this initiative, Rice is responsible for supporting the media relations campaign across Southeast Asia. Earlier this year, Hilton Worldwide held a pitch for the account.

MFA on agency hunt

Ministry of Foreign Affairs (pictured) has a tender for branding and marketing communication services. The contract is for one year with an option to extend for another. The contract is slated to begin April next year and the agency that the government office previously worked with was Core communications. The winning agency will be in charge of the designing of collaterals, brochures videos and coming up with marketing concepts for the foreign service staff team and foreign service scholarships.

Singapore JewelFest crowns Fulford as AOR

Singapore JewelFest 2012 has appointed Fulford Public Relations following a pitch in April. Fulford PR has worked with Singapore JewelFest since July this year for key media activities surrounding its 10th anniversary celebrations. Fulford PR’s remit was to drive awareness for the exhibition’s constellation of more than 60 fine jewellers and designers from around the world.
