MediaMath expands Asia footprint

Digital media-buying platform MediaMath has promoted Erich Wasserman and Greg Williams to lead commercial and partnership development for APAC, in addition to their existing responsibilities for business operations in EMEA.

This newly extended role will see the duo lead MediaMath’s expansion across APAC and strengthen its presence in the region. The company is currently already established in Japan and Australia.

Wasserman and Williams co-founded MediaMath in 2007. Both previously held director level positions at marketing technology provider [x+1] with Wasserman heading up the media solutions division and Williams as director of client strategy.

Commenting on the new role, Williams (pictured) said: “The fast-expanding APAC market represents a considerable opportunity for MediaMath. Clients are seeking an end-to-end scalable global solution that delivers targeted advertising to relevant audiences, helping to drive business results.”

In January 2011, Williams and Wasserman launched the company’s EMEA operations, establishing a direct presence across six European markets within a year.
