Singtel's latest media shortlist tipped to be out

Singtel is tipped to have narrowed its media review down to four agencies.The agencies remaining in the pitch now are Carat-Vizeum's Team Connect, MEC and Havas, PHD, Marketing understands.Singtel and R3 declined to comment when contacted.Singtel called the pitch in December last year, putting incumbent agency MEC on alert.In the last round of shortlists, Singtel confirmed Havas Media, MEC, Mediacom, PHD and a joint venture between Carat and Vizeum called Team Connect made the cut.The pitch is managed by R3.Earlier this year, Singtel newly launched a refreshed brand image, done  by creative agency Ogilvy & Mather. This was the biggest brand revamp the telco has gone for in 16 years. It also surfaced a new tagline: “Let’s make everyday better.", that garnered the brand some flak for poor grammar.
