Newswire service company, Media OutReach has expanded its presence in Malaysia through its local partner CENSE Media, in a bid to provide efficient delivery of press releases and news coverage. Malaysia marks the third country for Media OutReach to establish a local office.
Following the move, Media OutReach will be working directly with local public relations agencies and companies to offer an immediate solution to place key messages in print, trade publications, broadcast media and other medias sites. In addition, the partnership with CENSE Media looks to provide a global reach to these agencies for a even wider exposure.
According to Jennifer Kok, founder and managing director of Media OutReach, the partnership was the result of increasingly frequent requests from local agencies and companies in the country for the distribution service.
“Our partnership with CENSE Media also demonstrates the commitment by Media OutReach to develop a strong network country by country, for the distribution service that authentically helps clients to build media relations, and visibility in online media in the digital era,” Kok said.
Rita Sim, CEO of CENSE Media added that newswire services are already widely used in Singapore and Hong Kong, and has found the right partner to effectively offer this directly in Malaysia. She also explained that the service is an “extremely powerful tool for Malaysian-based companies with an international market”, as the company will be able to immediately provide them with the global media reach through its extensive distribution network.
“Through the partnership with Media OutReach, we are able to introduce a service that would help Malaysian PR agencies and companies to have a newswires service that optimises brand awareness and builds reputation locally and internationally,” Sim added.
In 2016, Media OutReach had expanded into Singapore with AsiaOne as its strategic content partner. This saw the agency work directly with both local and multinational clients, and assisted many public relations agencies across the Asia Pacific region.
