MEC has been awarded the Dorsett Hospitality International business after an open pitch involved with three agencies.
The agency will handle search engine marketing and remarking activities for the client.
Dorsett Hospitality International is an Asian-based international hotel chains and currently operates 21 hotels, with 10 new hotels in the pipeline in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and United Kingdom.
Commenting on the win, Melpo Wong, director of digital distribution at Dorsett Hospitality International, said: “MEC showed great understanding of our brand, the nuances of hotel marketing catering to a Hong Kong and China audience; their culture and languages.
“We were very impressed by the recommendations they made, ‘speaking the language’ from both the hotel and the guests’ point of view. We are confident that with MEC and Antony on board we’ll be able to build a great Search and Performance program for our hotel group.”
