MEC bags digital and search duties for Park Hotel Group

MEC has been handed the digital media and search businesses for Park Hotel Group after a pitch with two other agencies.

The agency will handle digital media buying and planning as well as search engine marketing activities for the client.

Park Hotel Group is a hotel chain in Asia Pacific with nine hotels and over 3,000 rooms in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan, and three properties in Singapore, Indonesia and Australia that are currently under development.

Commenting on the appointment, Eddie Sit, assistant director, digital marketing at Park Hotel Group, said: “We are advancing our digital effort to grow our digital presence and showcase our offering to business and leisure travelers around the world.

“We choose MEC as they have illustrated their expertise in the hospitality industry as well as the travelers’ behavior in our targeted markets. We are very excited to work with MEC to further maximize digital media efficient with our continued investment and growth.”

Antony Yiu, head of search and performance for MEC APAC, added: “I am confident that our thriving digital community will further fuel the growth of Park Hotel’s online footprints and significantly improve the media efficiency, leading to a higher return of investment for our client partner.”
