Melati Abdul Hai has developed a strong career in Marketing and Communications which spans over 20 years in the FMCG industry, having worked in multi-national companies including Nestle and PepsiCo, managing and growing some of the world’s leading brands such as Milo, Quaker, Tropicana, Gatorade and Mountain Dew. Melati joined McDonald’s Malaysia in 2010 and currently holds the position of Vice President – CMO. She plays a key role in providing strategic leadership, in steering consumer-centric planning and in driving the overall growth and business agenda for the company. She leads teams responsible for the planning and execution of marketing, promotion and communications plans that has continued to make new in-roads in driving guest visits and exponentially growing market share. Melati has driven many successful marketing and brand campaigns for McDonald’s, creating stronger resonance for the brand, propelling the business to strong growth year-on-year.
