McCann Worldgroup has appointed Felicia Hutabarat as creative director. In her new role, Hutabarat will report to Vishal Mehta, managing director of McCann Worldgroup Indonesia. She will be tasked with overseeing the creative output and drive innovation for the agency’s clients, which include Wyeth, Nestle, Maybelline and Asian Paints.
Prior to the appointment, Hutabarat was an associate creative director at Publicis Indonesia, and boasts over 10 years of industry experience, according to a press statement. Over the course of her career, Hutabarat has worked with a list of clients that spans both consumer and corporate, ranging from Nescafe and Mini Cooper, through to Citibank, HSBC Bank and Bayer.
“Hutabarat is a very interesting person who is able to innovate across multiple platforms. Not only has she created award-winning work, she also runs a popular Instagram account on travel and is passionate about nurturing young talent. With her as our creative director, I am confident that she will lead the team to success,” Mehta said.
