M&C Saatchi Malaysia makes key promotions

M&C Saatchi Malaysia has kicked off the year with two executive appointments.

Marzuki Maani (pictured, right), one of the pioneering members of the network’s Kuala Lumpur office, has been appointed executive creative director of M&C Saatchi Malaysia, joining Henry Yap and Ajay Bakhshi in their ranks.

Current digital director Lee Poh Li (pictured, left) has also been appointed as general manager of M&C Saatchi-i as she leads the digital subsidiary of M&C Saatchi Malaysia.

Armed with a mantra of creating “work that works,” Marzuki has spent the better part of two decades producing campaigns for brands such as Axiata, Alliance Bank, BOH, Sepang International Circuit and Celcom, with his recent work for Tourism Malaysia receiving several awards.

From six members to a total of 25 people today, Lee’s 16 years of experience has allowed her to expand the portfolio of M&C Saatchi-i since she joined the digital agency in 2012.

“We have a great team and I’m really proud of both Marzuki and Poh Li for their outstanding performance and continuous loyalty to the agency,” said Datin Lara Hussein, managing director of M&C Saatchi Malaysia. “They will inevitably drive M&C Saatchi Malaysia to greater heights through further integration, creating impact as we move forth in 2015.”
