Tempo Scan Group has tasked M&C Saatchi to handle its integrated communications spanning traditional and digital advertising across its 10 brands. This comes following a three-month pitch . The brands that M&C Saatchi will be managing include baby care brand, MY BABY, Oskadon, an over-the-counter (OTC) adult analgesic; ULTIMA II, an international beauty and skincare brand; Bodrexin, a OTC children analgesic; S.O.S., a range of anti-bacterial household care solutions; among others.
“We have always been an entrepreneurial organisation, driven by innovation and challenging the categories we operate in. With M&C Saatchi, we saw fresh ideas that were in synergy with our DNA, and we hope we can build a good partnership with them,” Phillips Gunawan, vice president director Tempo Scan Group, said.
In a statement to Marketing Interactive, Anish Daryani (pictured), founder and president director, M&C Saatchi Indonesia said that the brands will be managed by different teams that have the right category expertise and past experience for that particular brand. Integration director, Dyah Ariani was brought in to oversee the teams.
“Tempo Scan Pacific has tremendous history and heritage, and we are fortunate to have earned the company’s trust to grow and nurture some of their largest brands. This is also a big boost for my team, that their efforts and hard work has paid off. We hope to do great work on all our Tempo Scan Brands and help them win in the Indonesian market,” Daryani said.

We came to Indonesia with the same objective, and we’re glad we will get to build some of the largest home-grown brands in Indonesia,” he added.
