Maxus Singapore's general manager exits

Alison Song, general manager at Maxus Singapore is leaving the agency.She first came on board in 2009 and has worked with clients from various FMCG, financial, travel, automobile and entertainment industries. She was also handling the Lion’s account which has been with Maxus for close to four years and Courts. She reported to Desh Balakrishnan who took on  the role of managing director from Lena Goh earlier this year.Song (pictured) confirmed the move to Marketing adding that she is taking a personal break before embarking on anything new. She declined to comment further."Alison has been a great talent with her dedication and leadership at Maxus during her time at Maxus and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours," Balakrishnan added.Meanwhile the agency has also appointed Felicia Poon as senior manager at Maxus Singapore. She will be handling clients such as SIM, Saxo Capital, Frasers Centrepoint, Larry Jewelry, Ministry of Social & Family Development (MSF) and National Environment Agency (NEA) in her new role.  Poon was last senior manager at Havas Media handling accounts such as DBS, LG, Burger King, Jurong Point Shopping Mall and Fitness First.Globally, GroupM also moved the global CEO of Maxus role out of APAC as it appointed Lindsay Pattison as global CEO of Maxus replacing Vikram Sakhuja.Sukhuja will continue with the agency but Group M did not elaborate on the role further.
