Mast-Jägermeister appoints BBDO China as lead agency for Chinese market

German liquor company Mast-Jägermeister has appointed BBDO China as its lead agency for the Chinese market.BBDO China will be responsible for all brand communications, as well as for digital and social projects. The appointment is effective immediately.“We are thrilled to be working with BBDO China, it’s an agency with great people and that over a long period of time has a proven track record of delivering outstanding expertise which will impact business results," said Matt Djokovic, regional director of Mast-Jägermeister Asia Pacific.In recent years, Mast-Jägermeister has been expanding in China,  making it one of the most important markets for the traditional family-owned business. To build on that growth, the brand was ready to sign with an agency partner they believed understood the mindset and consumption behaviour of China's young adults.Tze Kiat Tan, CEO BBDO Greater China, commented: “We are very excited to be appointed by such a great brand and we are looking forward to delivering an integrated marketing and communications strategy that helps them meet their ambitious growth goals in China.”
