Marie Gruy (pictured) has been appointed as regional director of Carat Asia Pacific.
Gruy reports to Sean O’Brien CEO Carat Asia Pacific and will be building strategic leadership and insight-led thinking across all APAC markets.
The move will see Gruy work closely with Clay Schouest, Carat’s head of strategy and innovation for the region.
“Her focus will be to drive sharp-edged insights that enable better strategic planning. She is a great addition to the team and will help reach our goal to redefine media and drive success for our brands in the region,” O’Brien said.
Clay Schouest, head of strategy and innovation at Carat Asia Pacific added that there will be more hires to strengthen the Carat team as it continues to “build a world class communications planning offering to service the region and deliver on our recent successes.”
Gruy has been in the media industry for over 15 years. She was last to managing partner at PHD Singapore in 2012 where she reported to Omnicom Media Group Singapore CEO, Sony Wong. Currently Omnicom Media Group has appointed Ang Wan Gyn to lead PHD Singapore as its new managing director.
