Manulife engages Pakho Chau in new TVC

Manulife Hong Kong has rolled out a TV commercial today to back its new activity tracking programme ManulifeMOVE, featuring Cantopop star Pakho Chau (周柏豪).Developed by Dentsu Hong Kong and PHD Hong Kong, the campaign aims to encourage Hong Kong consumers to embrace more active lifestyles through ManulifeMOVE.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMYPNCMvgMI&feature=youtu.beWith the new programme, people wear a fitness tracker which monitors their physical activity which also helps them earn discounts on their insurance premiums. The ad shows how easy it is to integrate movement into daily lives.The TV campaign builds on a platform – be active, stay healthy and be rewarded – which is designed to show an iconic green cube, representing Manulife, campaign ambassador Chau and participants to move around the city for a healthy and active lifestyle.Shots of day-to-day life scenarios are shown in the 60-second and 30-second TV ads to create awareness and buzz about ManulifeMOVE.“The concept is all about bringing movement into our daily lives,” said Isabella Lau, chief customer officer for Manulife Hong Kong.“It’s about showing that exercise can be worked into any routine and it all adds up to a healthier lifestyle. Pakho Chau is a great ambassador for this campaign. He brings enormous energy and a zest for life to his musical career – and that’s what ManulifeMOVE encourages all of us to do each day.”The new TV commercial runs in conjunction with print and online advertising rolled out earlier this month.
