Mangham Gaxiola makes senior hire

Mangham Gaxiola has appointed Bong Siew Cheong (pictured) as the agency's digital and CRM partner.He replaces Andrea Conyard who was also the lead on Mangham Gaxiola's Samsung Enterprise business.Conyard came on board in October last year to lead the Mangham Gaxiola feat. Andrea Conyard unit which was to offer specialist digital and CRM consultancy and creative work.The unit has now been integrated into the Mangham Gaxiola.This is the agency next big announcement after it named Yu Lin Loh to be a full partner in the 15 month old agency. Loh has been with the start-up since the beginning, managing their founder client CIMB Bank.Bong was last at OgilvyOne as business director working on accounts such as Levis, Nike and Unilever.He subsequently joined Levi's Asia Pacific as the digital lead running all consumer and merchants online initiatives for the region and was closely involved with the creation and deployment of Levi's Women Curve ID and Levi's Global Rebranding Campaign "Go Forth".Stephen Mangham, partner said: "Bong is dynamic, and he's a force. This is what makes him great, and it's what makes him a great fit for our clients.""My exposure as a client previously has given me a more well-rounded view of marketing campaigns. This gives me the advantage of becoming a better partner for our clients here at Mangham Gaxiola," Bong added.Mangham Gaxiola set up shop just over one year ago. Its clients include CIMB Bank, Samsung Asia and Beiersdorf.
