The value of Malaysia's top 30 brands are expected to show a significant increase according to Interbrand, one of the world's largest brand consultancies specialising in an established methodology of brand valuation.Earlier this month, Interbrand named 100 brands in their Best Global Brands 2012 report of the Best Global Brands Report 2012 with Coca-Cola, Apple, IBM, Google, and Microsoft topping the list."Despite a prickly global economy, CEOs in Malaysia have made significant investments to grow their brand," notes Mohammad Azlan Abdullah, NSTP CEO. "This is important as it will have a net positive effect on our economy."Malaysia's Most Valuable Brands (MMVB) measures the financial value of brands originating in Malaysia with a public-listed parent based on three primary components: financial forecast, role of brand and brand strength."This year's top ranked brands have a captivating and inspiring story to tell. Through publicly available data, they have revealed themselves in their systems and processes. Their success has real meaning - and it comes from the core of what they represent as a brand," says Jennifer Chan (pictured), organising chairperson of MMVB 2012.MMVB 2012 is organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) with Media Prima as joint presenter.MALAYSIA'S MOST VALUABLE BRANDS 20121.            Affin Bank2.            Air Asia3.            Alliance Bank4.            AmBank5.            Bonia6.            Celcom7.            CIMB8.            Digi9.            Dutch Lady10.          F&N11.          IOI Group12.          Maxis13.          Maybank14.          OldTown White Coffee15.          Padini16.          Parkson17.          Perodua18.          Petronas19.          Premier20.          Public Bank21.          Resorts World22.          RHB23.          Setia24.          Sime Darby25.          Sin Chew Daily26.          Sunway27.          The Star28.          TM29.          TV330.          YTLNote: The ranking order according to value with the respective brand valuation will be announced on 17 October 2012.
