Regional â€“ Following the success of the inaugural summit which took place last year in Phuket, Marketing Magazine has announced the launch of Luxury Marketing Summit 2013.
This year’s event will take place at the JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa on 8-10 May.
The event was attended by the brands such as Bottega Veneta, Pernod Ricard and Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts
Commenting on last year’s event, Ian Gorsuch, regional director of McLaren Automotive said: “It’s good to hear different people’s inputs from different parts of the industry.”
This year’s event aims to recreate a microcosm of the luxury industry, with marketers from leading luxury brands in the fashion, cosmetics, private banking, cars, retail, real estate, private jet and yacht verticals amongst others.
With a niche target market of very wealthy individuals, the event aims to provide luxury brands with a forum for peer-sharing and learning about the latest trends and building cross-industry partnerships.
Starting on the evening of Wednesday 8May with the welcome dinner, the Luxury Marketing Summit will feature two days of industry briefings and case studies exploring the key issues surrounding the marketing of luxury brands in today’s turbulent economic landscape.
Attendance at the Luxury Marketing Summit is by invitation only and limited to senior executives from the luxury industry. Client-side marketers can attend the event free of charge, with accommodation and meals at the JW Marriott provided by Marketing.
Confirmed speakers from leading brands are soon to be announced.
There are also a limited number of opportunities for agencies and solutions providers to be a part of the event as sponsors.
