Unilab Philippines has appointed Lowe Philippines as its official AoR for Unilab’s Active Health. Lowe won the assignment following a four-way pitch, which ended mid-October.
Lowe will handle countrywide, full-service creative duties for Unilab’s pioneering fitness and performance platform, Active Health. Active Health has been the driving force behind some of the country’s most iconic hi-performance events, including TriUnited, RunUnited, Bike United.
Jan Evangelista, Division VP, Unilab Consumer Health, said, “As much success as we’ve had over the years with our events, it is time we expand the brand to cover all the relevant needs of the Progressive Athlete – not only events but performance nutritionals and other exciting services.”
Leigh Reyes, President and CCO, Lowe Philippines said, “One of the challenges we encountered during the pitch was to combine different brand pillars into an ecosystem that made sense and appealed to the target, so consumer immersion and insight were key. We’re delighted to be working on Unilab Active Health.”
Jan Evangelista added, “We selected Lowe because they clearly had the deepest understanding of our target consumer among all the other agencies. And strategically, they were able to bring cohesiveness to seemingly diverse elements of the Active Health platform. We look forward to a great partnership.”
Established in 1945, Unilab is the biggest pharmaceutical and healthcare company in the Philippines.
