The Jotun Group, one of the worlds leading manufacturers of decorative paints, has tapped Lowe Malaysia to take over creative duties.
Chen Lee Siong, regional marketing director, decorative paints at Jotun Malaysia, said Lowe won the business after meeting with five agencies.
“What stood out from the presentation was Lowe’s combination of creative and business-focused solutions for a wide range of brands, across different categories. We like how they come up with ideas that inspire people to act.”
Khairudin Rahim (pictured right), Lowe Malaysia chairman, said while decorate paints was a low interest category, the agency was looking forward to the task.
“Exterior-paints are a fairly generic category and not one that home owners engage often with,” Rahim said.
“A home owner typically looks at exterior paints once in five to six years. So product involvement is rather low and they depend strongly on their contractors, friends and family for recommendations.”
This marks Lowe Malaysia’s third win after bagging accounts for national car maker PERODUA and Spritzer’s Spritzer Tinge flavoured water brand.
