LOOK Hotels.com gets wet to prove speed

Hotels.com’s third YouTube video from its Xtreme Booking video series debut yesterday featured Japanese stunt comedians booking a hotel at the very last minute with the company’s mobile booking app while fighting against the currents of mountain rapids and free-falling down a seven-meter waterfall. The gimmick follows the videos that showed a skydiver making a room reservation with enough time to do a aerial back flip and open his parachute; and a bull runner trying to outrun the animal while using the app.Johan Svanstrom, Asia Pacific vice president and managing director of Hotels.com, said the Xtreme Booking video series demonstrates the speed and user-friendliness of the app.“Our app can help you find the perfect last-minute deal… the Xtreme Booking video demonstrates the speed and efficiency of booking on-the-go, with the choice of more than 220,000 hotels and thousands of last-minute deals around the world,” he said.Since its launch in 2011, the app has been downloaded across iPhone, Android, iPad, Windows Phone 7 and Windows 8 platforms more than 15 million times.[gallery ids="17778,17780,17781,17782,17783,17784,17785"]
