LOOK What they did to the Easter Bunny

Have you been to the pizza chain from hell recently? At least that's what this pizza chain seems to be wanting to portray.New Zealand’s pizza chain Hell Pizza has put up a controversial billboard ahead of the Easter weekend. The tagline for this billboard ran with the line: “Made from real rabbit. Like this billboard.”The chain has also been actively promoting the pizza on its Facebook page, putting up fun facts about rabbits. Some have since taken offense to the ad.In response to the criticisms, Hell Pizza put up a note on its Facebook page which read something like this:“As well as being a delicious meat, and even quite cute, rabbits are unfortunately also a noted pest that is damaging to the New Zealand environment, particularly in the South Island. For those who are concerned, we sourced these rabbit skins via a professional animal tanning company, who in turn sourced them from local meat processing companies where the skins are a regular by-product. Our Rabbit Pizzas are made purely from wild rabbits from Southland and Otago.”Uhm okay, does anybody feel better about eating some rabbits this Easter yet? This is not the first time Hell Pizza has gotten into trouble for some controversial advertising. Several years back Hell Pizza's ‘condom’ promotion copped some flak for including condoms in a mail to promote its "Lust" pizza. Now that’s some saucy advertising.
