Singapore – LG Electronics has launched a marketing blitz for its new LG Optimus G, centering it around the theme of Change for Good.
Campaign efforts for the local market include five videos on the theme: Performance for Good, Camera for Good, Design for Good, and two more videos titled Change for Good, asking consumers what they would like to change for good, and linking that to LG’s improved features on its Optimus G phone. These have been running as TV spots on local and cable channels as well.
A website under the theme is also running at the same time. Meanwhile several events have also launched for on-ground engagement including a media event in end January and LG created a pop-up store at The Plain Café, calling it G-Café last week, inviting users to try the new phone and redeem a free coffee at the same time.
The campaign is still ongoing and was created by LG’s recently appointed creative agency for the local market, The Secret Little Agency, Marketing understands.
LG could not be reached in time to comment on the campaign and objectives.
