Leo Burnett Malaysia and its sister division, Arc Worldwide, has appointed Michelle Ong (pictured) as chief operating officer, overseeing operations, focusing on reinventing workflow processes while collaborating with counterparts in Leo Burnett Singapore and focusing on key MNC brands such as McDonald’s, Philip Morris, Dutch Lady Malaysia, and Procter & Gamble.
Ong has over 20 years of solid communications experience building a diverse range of brands, having worked with Ogilvy & Mather and McCann Worldgroup.
Ong was also managing director of McCann Indonesia. She was also previously with Leo Burnett Malaysia and Taiwan in various roles.
“We are strengthening our management team to ensure that we have the best people to take us to the next level, ” Tan Kien Eng, chief executive officer of Leo Burnett Group Malaysia, said.
