Legrand Heads Dow Jones Digital Network

Dow Jones Consumer Media Group has strengthened its online presence in Asia with the appointment of Olivier Legrand as general manager Asia for The Wall Street Journal Digital Network.Based in Hong Kong Legrand will continue to lead CMG's digital initiatives in the region and report directly into Matt Goldberg, WSJDN's senior VP for strategy & operations as well as Christine Brendle, CMG's MD, Asia.As director of marketing previously, Legrand helped grew the Chinese WSJ.com and FEER.com.He joined The Wall Street Journal Asia in November 2005 as circulation marketing director. Before, WSJA, he was CEO for Creasia Marketing House in Hong Kong and from 1998 to 2004 served as marketing director, online brokerage for Cortal Consors, BNP Paribas Group in Paris.Shawn Hiltz, senior marketing manager is promoted to replace Legrand as director of marketing, Asia responsible for marketing and advertising for the WSJA franchise, including the newspaper, Chinese WSJ.com and the Far Eastern Economic Review in print and online.Hiltz joined WSJA in July 2006 as senior marketing manager. Prior to WSJA, he was a member of the senior marketing team at Disneyland Resort Paris responsible for brand management and marketing strategy.
