Leadership changes at Huntsworth Group

Public relations group Huntsworth has hired Chris Tang as its new regional chief executive officer. Previously The Hoffman Agency’s Asia Pacific managing director, Tang starts in the role at Huntsworth in February.Bob Pickard will now lead as chairman Asia Pacific, instead of CEO, as the company previously announced. Pickard will report directly to  Huntsworth’s group CEO Lord Chadlington. The group’s brands are Citigate, Grayling, and Huntsworth Health.Pickard will still be based in Singapore to focus on client development and new business, including global communications for Asian multinationals, as well as chairing the firm’s new regional board.Tang will be based in Beijing and have full P&L responsibilities for Huntsworth’s Asia-Pacific operations, with all offices reporting to her. She is also expected to play a key role in the company’s alliance with Chinese comms firm BlueFocus, which recently made a £36.5 million investment in Huntsworth.
