Dominic Twyford, country director of Landor Associates’ Kuala Lumpur office is exiting the role.
Nick Foley, president of Landor Southeast Asia, Pacific & Japan region told A+M that the branding agency is currently in the process of recruiting a senior member to lead the office in Malaysia and Malaysia remains a key strategic location within Southeast Asia for Landor.
Twyford (pictured) will be relocating to India, but will remaining within the WPP network. Under his remit, Landor’s Malaysian client list has broadened to include UEM Group, UEM Edgenta, Hotel Equatorial, Mondelez, Berjaya Properties and Selangor Properties.
“Despite a challenging economic environment we have grown our client base and business in Malaysia, and we intend to continue our growth,” said Foley.
He added, “Landor were the first global brand consultancy to open an office in Kuala Lumpur and we have seen the benefit of first mover advantage.”
Landor’s Southeast Asian presence consists of offices in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta. The wider region includes Tokyo, Mumbai, Melbourne and Sydney.
