Lagardere consolidates agencies to form Lagardere Plus

Lagardere Sports and Entertainment has unveiled Lagardere Plus, a global agency to assist brands with transforming traditional sponsorships into highly inventive and impactful marketing platforms. The new agency incorporates Lagardere Sports and Entertainment's existing global consulting businesses, such as agencies akzio! in Germany and Sponsorship 360 in France, all of which will be rebranded as Lagardere Plus.The new global agency will add strategic, creative, digital and analytics capabilities, moving beyond Lagardere's strength in sports and entertainment, the press statement read. Lagardere Plus also allows clients to be connected to various partnership opportunities. It will be headed by CEO Andrew Georgiou, as well as its global consulting team which includes global president Andrew N. Pierce, chief strategy officer Jonathan Isaac and VP, business development in Singapore Malcolm Thorpe.The new agency launches with a list of blue-chip clients who are active in the partnership marketing space. This includes BMW, Bridgestone, Citibank, EA Sports, Hyundai, Epson and Danone. To deliver more impactful partnership marketing, the new agency will continue looking into strategic acquisitions in key global markets."From sports, music and entertainment, to culinary and cause marketing, Lagardere Plus will help brands and properties get the attention they need in a distracted world.
