Korea Tourism Organisation reaches out to planners

The Korea Tourism Organisation’s M.I.C.E. team has launched its second “Master Planner Challenge” contest. The contest begins from 17 July 2014 and ends 31 August 2014.This is a company incentive tour program planning contest encouraging the public to take up the challenge in creating their ideal programs for the company’s incentive trip. The campaign will be promoted through Facebook ads, KTO website, eDMs to trade database and corporate database and also eDMs to schools and department heads of universities and polytechnics for disseminating to students.Participants will decide on the following:Who are their target audience?What are their proposed programs for the trip?When the trip will beWhere will they plan to visit?Why do they choose the programs, venues and activities?How long the trip will be?The challenge requests participants to come up with programs and costing to be based on an assumption of minimum group size of 20 adults from a “virtual” company. Entrants have to also include at least one group activity that suit the profile of the target audience and indicate the daily activities for the group.
