KFC has opened its first concept store in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, with an aim of enhancing the traditional fast-food dining experience with chic style.Spanning three storeys,  a street-level kiosk offers desserts and ice creams, while the first floor has self-ordering kiosks with modern bar stools. The second floor is a dining area where the walls are decorated with murals. Three-dimensional art installations have been installed at each stairway, allowing customers to take instagrammable photos. “KFC is evolving. We uplift the traditional fast-food experience and maintain brand authenticity with a more relaxed and chic café style. The concept store is to create a trendy socialising hub, enabling our customers to enjoy valuable moments with friends,” Janet Yuen, CEO of KFC Hong Kong and Macau.Located on the corner of Hennessy Road and Percival Street, the store, accommodating 150 customers, has also introduced freshly-cooked-to-order food items, as the restaurant chain aims to uplift fast-food dining experience in a more comfortable yet trendy place.[caption id="attachment_265954" align="alignnone" width="700"] Grilled Chicken Combo[/caption]Apart from the refreshed image, the concept store will also introduce new items on a regular basis. To celebrate the opening of the store, KFC has launched a Grilled Chicken Combo, an Oven-glazed Hot Wing Platter, a Baked Rice with Chicken Fillet Combo, and a Chizza - a chicken pizza with a giant KFC chicken fillet as the base with cheese and pineapple. Last but not least, KFC has also launched two mooncakes this year, (yes it's already started) namely the Spicy Chicken and Nuts Mooncake, and the Golden Lava Custard Mooncake.
