Ketchum launches specialist change management unit in APAC

Communications and PR agency Ketchum has appointed two senior level executives at the company’s Singapore office as it looks to launch its specialty change management unit in the region called Ketchum Change.

Ketchum Change aims to offer guidance to leaders, teams and organisations on how to “thrive in a world of constant, fluid and transformational change”, said the agency in a press statement. Ketchum Change is focused on helping clients drive business performance by aligning the workplace with the marketplace and building brands.

Gretchen Huestis, who has served as a director with Ketchum Change in London for two years, has relocated to Singapore to establish Ketchum Change’s presence in Asia Pacific. She will serve as SVP and Asia Pacific regional director for Ketchum Change. She will provide a focus for clients on change management, talent development, employee engagement, and creative internal branding and communications solutions that can drive behavior change and business results.

“Our clients are experiencing change on a global level, and they need a strong partner that can help them navigate challenges within the dynamic Asia Pacific region. Huestis has been an essential part of the global Ketchum Change team, and her move to Singapore will add her innovative thinking in the field of organisational performance to clients in the region,” Tyler Durham, partner and president, Ketchum Change said.

Ketchum has also appointed Jon Chin (pictured) as SVP and Asia regional client director. In this role, Chin will be the regional lead for one of Ketchum’s largest global clients in the consumer packaged goods industry and will continue to offer his expertise and counsel to Ketchum’s Asia Pacific brand clients.

Jon Higgins, senior partner and CEO of Ketchum’s international operations, said, “It is an exciting time in Singapore, and the entire Asia Pacific region. As the area continues to show positive signs of growth, we know that uestis and Chin will continue to uphold our reputation for providing the exceptional communications counsel, leadership, creative thinking and strategic execution that our clients have come to expect.”
