Kenny Rogers picks McCann

Kenny Rogers Roasters International (KRRI) has appointed McCann Erickson as its creative AOR without a pitch.The agency is tasked with KRRI’s core products, which are targeted at consumers from 18-35 years old.Luis Daniel, senior vice president of KRRI, told A+M the brand has chosen McCann for  its track record and good reputation.KRRI overseas markets such as Indonesia, Brunei, Bangladesh, China, Philippines and Singapore.It aims to expand in the Indochina markets by the end of this year.The contract includes the possibility of extension.Previously, the creative was managed in-house.Locally, KRRI is wholly owned by Berjaya Corp (BCorp), subsidiary of Roasters Asia Pacific and master franchise for Kenny Rogers Roasters.
