Diageo’s whiskey brand Johnnie Walker is calling for a global creative review.
According to global news sites, currently the Scottish beverage maker has a closed door review. Incumbent BBH who has held the account for 15 years was also invited to the closed door pitch.
Reported on M&M Global Guy Escolme, global brand director of Johnnie Walker said: “The brand’s relationship with BBH has been hugely successful, with the agency producing award-winning work of outstanding creativity. As the market leader, Johnnie Walker feels the time is right to invite selected agencies, including BBH, to look at how we take the brand forward into the future.”
Marketing has also reached out to Diageo for a statement.
Globally Johnnie Walker has various agencies on its roster. It currently also works with iris Worldwide for its F1 on ground activation and the partnership has been for over five years.
