Jean Yip aims to compete at global levels

Beauty retailer Jean Yip has launched a re-branding exercise with a SG$3 million dollar campaign. The campaign covers mediums such as TV, print, online and OOH mediums.

The campaign runs in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China. The agency behind the campaign was Addiction Advertising. The agency was tasked to conceptualise a campaign that will not only sell Jean Yip’s various business units but also re-brand them as a beauty brand that competes at  “international standards”. It also launched a campaign with the tagline: “You can look perfect from every angle with Jean Yip.”

With the latest campaign, it also hopes to target the younger and trendier audience and strengthen its position as a market leader in the beauty and wellness industry.  The campaign also enlists actress Cheryl Wee as the brand ambassador.

Jean Yip has been in the business for 30 years and is one of the biggest beauty retailers with over 60 salons island-wide.
