Buspak, the exclusive ad partner for New World First Bus and Citybus for more than a decade, has lost the contract to JCDecaux Cityscape.
From 1 July JCDecaux Cityscape will take over advertising for a 1,640 double deck and single deck buses across 192 routes for a period of five years.
JCDecaux Cityscape will take over existing clients for New World First Bus and Citybus. Buspak retains multimedia products for the two bus operators including bus TV Buzplay and mobile application Webus.
With the win, JCDecaux Cityscape’s responsibility for New World First Bus and Citybus have grown to bus shelters and bus bodies. The agency also handles advertising on tram bodies.
William Chung, head of operations at NWS Transport Services, said he strongly believes JCDecaux can help grow the bus body advertising business.
“We look forward to enhanced performance under the new contracts.”
