J. Walter Thompson Bangkok made new additions to the team with Theerapol “Tim” Koomsorn (pictured second from left) and Vasan Wangpaitoon (pictured left) as executive creative directors, Sunny Ng (pictured second from right) as group creative director and Yee Kiang Tan (pictured right) as creative director.
Wangpaitoon brings along close to three decades of experience in advertising, and will be working on the AIS, Mondelez International (Halls, Clorets) and Top Charoen Optical accounts.
Koomsorn started his advertising career in San Francisco more than 20 years ago before heading east to work in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, serving stints at McCann, TBWA, Ongoing and Leo Burnett and was most recently Executive creative director at Naga DDB in Kuala Lumpur.
Ng brings 21 years of agency experience and has worked on over 100 brands including Sony, Gillette, Pantene, Guinness, Ikea, Adidas, Wrigley’s and Volvo. At J. Walter Thompson Bangkok, he will work on the Heineken, Kimberly-Clark, OMO, Kellogg’s, Bayer and Listerine accounts.
Tan comes with 14 years in advertising and will be handling Nestlé and Diageo at J. Walter Thompson Bangkok. Similar to Koomsorn, he was most recently at Naga DBB in Kuala Lumpur.
