Isobar appoints new CEO of Asia Pacific

Isobar has promoted Jane Lin-Baden (pictured right), CEO of Isobar China Group, to Asia Pacific CEO of Isobar, with immediate effect. She takes over from Jean Lin (pictured left), Isobar Global CEO.

Jean has held the position from 2010 and retained it following her promotion to Global CEO in 2014. She will now focus on her global role going forward.

In her new role, Lin-Baden will drive strategic growth to expand Isobar’s capabilities and accelerate business growth throughout the region. She leads the Isobar Asia Pacific team headed by Sven Huberts, regional managing director and Sandipan Roy, regional strategy director.

Lin-Baden will continue to be based in Shanghai and lead the Isobar China Group as CEO, in addition to her new responsibilities. She will report directly to Nick Waters, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific and Jean Lin, Isobar Global CEO. Lin-Baden is also a member of the Isobar global executive board.

Lin-Baden joined Isobar China in 2007 as managing partner when she folded her agency into Isobar (then wwwins Consulting). In May 2013, she was promoted to CEO of Isobar China Group, and currently leads five digital agencies with more than 1,000 people across six cities.

“Lin-Baden has proven to be a strong leader and has grown the Isobar business to become one of the leading digital agency groups in China. With her leadership experience and focus on innovation, Isobar will be able to continue its great growth momentum across the region and achieve even more success for its clients and the group,” Waters said.
