Iris Singapore bolsters creative and client service teams

Iris Singapore has bolstered its leadership team with three new hires and other senior promotions across creative and client services. This comes after bagging clients such as Netflix, Sustenir and Rapid Rugby among others.Among the slew of new hires is Daniel Cullen (pictured bottom row: first from right). He joins as a client service director to lead Iris' client service team. Cullen most recently, was global business lead for Vodafone at WPP-backed Argentinian creative agency Santo in London. Prior to that, Cullen served as general manager at Publicis Hong Kong, where he headed a team of 70. He brings with him experience working in Singapore, formerly positioned at MullenLowe Singapore. Some of the other agencies Cullen had worked in previously include Ogilvy Hong Kong and BBH London.Taking on the position of business director is John Marsden (pictured bottom row: first from left). He will be tasked to lead Iris's anchor clients including Netflix, Marina Bay Sands and William Grant & Sons. Marsden joins the agency from Wunderman in the UK where he managed Bose, Samsung, Nestle Purina and Coca-Cola among others. In his years of experience, he has worked and led key business accounts including Ballantine's, The Glenlivet and Royal Salute at Havas UK, as well as Singapore Airlines and Chivas Regal at TBWA\\Singapore and TBWA Shanghai. During his time at M&C Saatchi in London, Marsden also worked with British Airways, Mini and Porsche.Newly-appointed as senior creative for Iris is Elvin Villar (pictured extreme left), previously the head of design at BBDO Singapore. With BBDO, Villar was focused on his craft as a design strategist while managing visual and creative work for Visa, Spotify, 3M, Franklin Templeton Investment, AIA Insurance, Tiger Beer and Exxon Mobil. He started his journey in 2013 at Manila, working on for Pfizer’s Energizer-Schick at JWT. Villar's portfolio includes FMCG accounts such as Johnson & Johnson's, Del Monte Company, Kraft-Mondelez as well as alcohol companies such as Ginebra San Miguel and Red Horse beer."Fresh blood challenges the status quo and we’re so lucky to have Villar join the creative family. But more importantly, he is surrounded and supported by comrades who embody what it means to boss it daily,” Ed Cheong, executive creative director, Iris Singapore said.Meanwhile, the senior promotions within the agency include Prema Techinamurthi (pictured top row: first from right) who will now become business director, leading Samsung and Meat & Livestock Australia for the region.
