Iris appoints Plumby
Iris Singapore has appointed Guy Plumbly (pictured) as account director to head up key accounts and support new business development for the agency’s digital offering. Plumbly has seven years of experience of managing a diverse portfolio of global, European and domestic accounts. He has worked with leading UK agencies such as Profero, CHI & Partners and Havas EHS. Plumbly will head the digital efforts for iris Singapore for clients such as Standard Chartered Bank, Philips and Robinsons. He will report to Emma Norris, board director, Iris.
NHB looks for digital agency
National Heritage Board has posted a tender looking for an agency to develop a new digital campaign. The campaign is for the “Explore Singapore” event, which hosts islandwide activities towards the year end. These activities coincide with the holiday season and New Year celebrations. This is the first time the government body is launching a digital initiative and the project is set to last from six to 12 weeks. The tender closes on 4 December 2012.
Jurong Bird park launches new show
Jurong Bird Park is set to launch new the “High Flyers Show” with Singapore Press Holdings Foundation (SPH Foundation). Lee Boon Yang, chairman of Singapore Press Holdings and SPH Foundation, will launch the new show on 30 November. SPH Foundation is a long time partner of Wildlife Reserves Singapore, including Jurong Bird Park, and has been the sponsor of the “Birds n Buddies Show” and its predecessor, the “All Star Bird Show”, since 2003.
