IPG Mediabrands, a division of Interpublic Group has appointed Chad Stoller to the newly created role of executive vice president, global innovation director.
In this role, Stoller (pictured) will focus on prospecting and integrating both new and emerging technologies to deliver best-in-class solutions and products across the network and to clients. He will create a new layer of revenue generation for both IPG Mediabrands, clients and partners.
A five-year veteran of IPG Mediabrands, Stoller most recently served as managing partner of the IPG Media Lab. There, he led the Lab’s evolution from a Los Angeles-based research center to a global innovation hub that leverages emerging technologies, platforms and capabilities to deliver new media solutions for clients. Stroller has also successfully led and implemented strategic investments for IPG, including Kiip, ADstruc and more recently, Placed and Samba TV.

Prior to joining IPG Mediabrands, he was executive vice president, Digital Strategy at BBDO. Earlier in his career, Chad served as Executive Director, Emerging Platforms at Organic, where he led a team that developed content used for next-generation communications platforms.
From 1993 to 2006, he held a variety of positions within Arnell Group developing holistic creative and media programs for various clients. While at Arnell Group, he co-founded Surge Interactive, a full-service agency acquired by IPG in 2001.
