Continuing its global expansion with an Asian gain, market research agency InSites Consulting has acquired insights specialists ABN Impact.
The deal marks the fifth acquisition by InSites Consulting in two years. Currently, ABN Impact has offices across Bangkok, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Manila, Seoul, Shanghai, and Singapore. Following the acquisition, the entire Asia wing of the InSites Consulting group will operate under the brand ABN Impact | InSites Consulting, while InSites Consulting Australia will remain the brand for the Australian market.
“Asia accounts for nearly two-thirds of global economic growth. The region remains the world’s most dynamic place. Hence, it comes as no surprise that our global clients are investing heavily in the region to drive their global growth ambitions. With the acquisition of ABN Impact, we can further support these clients more effectively and impactfully,” said Kristof De Wulf, co-founder and CEO of InSites Consulting.
While the Asia management of ABN Impact will join this new brand after this acquisition, some ABN Impact leaders will take up critical roles in the integrated organisation. Maz Amirahmadi, the CEO of ABN Impact, will become CEO of ABN Impact | InSites Consulting and Scott Lee, the chief client officer of ABN Impact, will become senior client partner at ABN Impact | InSites Consulting.
“Together, we will continue to progress next generation research through insight communities. Our combined strength will spark ever-advancing thought leadership around customer experience, innovation, and branding,” said Amirahmadi.
