The new Infiniti QX Sport Inspiration concept car made its global public premiere yesterday at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show.
Roland Krueger, Infiniti president, said the new model is a statement of intent from Infiniti which demonstrates the brand’s design philosophy and capabilities in the mid-size SUV segment.
As Chinese consumers are flocking to buy a SUV for its safety and capacity, the luxury car brand aims to capture the increasingly growing demand in China’s burgeoning SUV market.
According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, more than 3.34 million of SUVs were sold in China in 2015, with an 82.8% year-over-year increase.
The new Infiniti QX Sport Inspiration is currently on public show at the China International Exhibition Center.
